Maureen Lozon

May 22, 1945 — August 31, 2021

MAUREEN A. LOZON

Maureen A. Lozon, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She passed away August 31, 2021 at the age of 76, after an extended illness.

The daughter of Mary Margaret Patricia (Quinn) Carroll, Maureen was born May 22, 1945.  A proud New Yorker, she was born in Brooklyn, was raised and lived in Manhattan and West Islip, Long Island, NY.  Maureen graduated from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA and attended University of Dayton.

A very active person, she was full of enthusiasm and liveliness.  She enjoyed bicycling and traveling, especially her trips to the West Coast of Ireland.  She also had a passion for cooking and was awarded multiple Blue Ribbons at the Canfield Fair over the years for her baking ability.

Maureen’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who survive; her husband, Philip Lozon of North Canton; daughter, Kelly (Matt) Brickley of Roswell, Georgia; sons, Steven (Jennifer) Kling of North Canton, Paul (Jennifer Leigh) Kling of Canton; grandchildren, Benjamin, Bradley, Chloe, Matthew, Carter, and Jackson; and former spouse, Jim Kling.

In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, a private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local Humane Society in Maureen’s name, as she was a lover of all her furry cat friends.

Hecker-Patron Funeral Home was entrusted with Maureen’s care and privileged in assisting the Lozon and Kling families during this tender time.
