HOBART C. HOPKINS

Hobart (Hoppy) C. Hopkins, 94, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away January 31, 2022. He was born in Woodsfield, to parents, Roy and Audra Hopkins. In addition to his parents, he now joins his daughter, Marla; three brothers; and three sisters who preceded him in death.

He enjoyed life and was grateful for every moment he was given, no matter how big or small. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, corn hole tournaments, horseshoes, camping, bowling, and most of all, time spent with his family. He was blessed to have a special fellowship with God and his church family and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Hobart’s memory has become a treasure to those who survive; his wife of 71 years, Mary; daughter, Judy (Tim) Hart of Hartville; sons, Timothy (Diane) Hopkins and Michael (Sanda) Hopkins all of Suffield; grandchildren, Kory (Pam) Hart, Heather (Quinn) Machan, Tana (Jason) Schrock, Kris (Lacie) Hart, Deborah Roembke, Cheryl Cluck; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Addyson, Brooke, Asher, Chase ,Parlan, Rhett, Finn, Jonathan, Cody, Chylece, and Kyleigh; and sister, Gaile (Estel) Sevy of Belpre.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Road, Green, Ohio, on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. until the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
