WILLIAM “BILL” ROGER HARLAND

On December 21, 2021, Bill Harland, passed away from a stroke related to COVID complications. Bill gave it a good fight, until the end.

Bill was deeply loved by his family. Left to miss Bill’s strange sense of humor is his mom, Bonnie Hamilton; brother, Tim Harland, along with Julie Lasky; Bill’s companion, Tricia; children, Ashley, Chrissy, Mitchell, Michael, Matthew; his grandchildren; and coffee and golfing friend, Johnny Johnson.

Bill worked for Allied Universal at Western Reserve Hospital. Watching him suffer through COVID and seeing firsthand what he endured, we are sure he would tell people to “GET VACCINATED.”

Visitation will be conducted at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Ave., NW, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 11:00 AM until Noon, with the service immediately following. Father Gabriel Lavery will be presiding. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.

The family would like to thank the staff at Akron Summa Hospital and especially 3 East Palliative Care.
