WILLIAM W. VOIGT
William W. Voigt passed away peacefully, December 30,2021. Born October 28, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Wesley and Alice (Enlow) Voigt.
A wonderful family-oriented person, he enjoyed anything outdoor related, especially hunting and fishing. He was quick to tell a joke or two and make everyone laugh. William was an incredibly talented artist and accomplished finish carpenter, landing the name “The Carpenter Guy.”
William’s memory will live on through all who knew him; Cynthia Voigt, his wife of 16 years; daughters, Christina Voigt of Akron, Kristin (Eric) Lee of Terre Haute, Indiana, Chelsea (Jason) Reed of Stow, Kim (James) Martin of Mayfield, Kentucky; sons, Adam Voigt of Marshall, North Carolina, Glen (Rachael) Kreisher of Belguim; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Linda Borner and Bonnie Voigt; and lifelong friends, David and Carolyn Swain.
In keeping with the wishes of William, a Memorial Service will be conducted, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Noon, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service at Uniontown Chapel of Faith, 13141 Church Avenue, NW, Uniontown, Ohio, with Pastor Jack Coontz officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
