WARREN DAVID (SKIP) HILL

 

Warren David (Skip) Hill was born September 6, 1943 in Warner Robins, Georgia, to the late Warren and Doris (Welty) Hill. He passed February 7, 2023, at his home, at the age of 79. He now is at peace and rejoices being reunited with his wife, Marlene.

 

Warren is survived by his sisters, Gerri Farnsworth and Glenda Hinton; brothers, Gary (Cathy) Hill and Greg (Denise) Hill; stepsons Kenny Large and Robert Large, stepdaughters Michelle Vondrak and Delite Evans, and several grandchildren.

 

He was a 1961 graduate of Lake High School, where he was a standout athlete on the Blue Streak football and track teams. He was a missionary builder working in several ministries, most recently with Nazareth Housing Development, a faith based corporation, creating homes for low and moderate income families. In his retirement, Warren enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, where the service for Warren will follow immediately at 5:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
