Victor Joseph Foltz, 74, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026. Born on April 25, 1952, in Akron, Ohio, he lived a life marked by devotion to his family and pride in his work.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Harold Foltz, and his sisters, Betty Mittiga and Debbie Philabaum. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Deborah Foltz; daughters, Denise Powers (Larry) and Amanda Morrow; sons David Foltz, Sam Schwendiman, and Tim Schwendiman (Kelly). He was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Victor is also survived by his sister, Connie Brown; and his brother, Rick Foltz (Vanessa).
Victor retired from Bridgestone/Firestone Tire and Rubber Company after an impressive 41‑year career as a chemical technician. His work ethic, ingenuity, and dedication led him to 51 patents during his tenure.
Outside of work, Victor found joy in fishing and boating, especially in Michigan. He was exceptionally handy and creative, always able to fix, build, or improve anything he set his mind to. He loved his dogs and cherished time with his family.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, Uniontown. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11 a.m., followed by burial at East Liberty Cemetery, Green.
