Terry Sluss, 69, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. Born on February 15, 1957, in Canton, Ohio, Terry was the son of the late John and Helen (Hayes) Sluss.

Terry was a man of few words whose actions spoke volumes. He was a faithful Christian, a devoted husband, a dedicated professional, and a trusted friend to many. Known for his analytical mind and relentless curiosity, Terry researched everything thoroughly and approached life with thoughtfulness and precision. He dedicated nearly five decades of his life to his career as a Chemical Engineer at Goodrich.

Terry never complained, never asked for anything, and was always willing to help others. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His quiet generosity and humble nature earned him the love and respect of all who knew him.. Earlier in life, Terry faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, and elder at Paradise U.C.C. Most recently, he attended Millheim Baptist Church, where he continued to grow in faith and fellowship.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Jill Sluss, with whom he shared 21 wonderful years of marriage; his sister, Gayle Stanford; one niece; one nephew; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and his special pet companion, his black Lab, Maddie, who brought him much comfort and companionship.
