Tedd Andrew Boli, age 75, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 19, 2025, at his home in Uniontown, OH. Born in Canton, Tedd was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Donna (Kincel); his sister, Tracey Kelly; and Dyan, his wife of 46 years. He is survived by his daughter, Starr, his son-in-law, James Dobush, and their son Neven; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Yovich; and by his brother, Todd (Jean); and sister, Trudy Leisey (Calvin).
Tedd was a graduate of Bard College, where he majored in religion. After college, he helped his parents build their winter home in Stella Maris, Bahamas. For many years Tedd, Dyan and Starr enjoyed Christmas holidays in this home.
Tedd returned to Canton to join his father’s plumbing business. He subsequently worked in boat retail, specializing in the sale of boat parts, and later served on the maintenance staff at Belden Village Mall. An enthusiastic water skier, Tedd enjoyed spending weekends boating with his family and friends. One of their best boating memories was Starr taking her first steps on a boat!
Later in life, Tedd, Dyan, and Starr enjoyed many family trips, traveling to different parts of the world, from Brussels to China. They experienced the comic adventures of Tintin in Brussels and the rare privilege of a cruise down the Yangtze River, through the Three Gorges Dam. These are just a few of their many memorable travel experiences.
Tedd’s family will hold a memorial gathering to receive guests on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence or the Ohio River Foundation. You can also remember Tedd by signing our guest book.
