SUSAN M. JOHNSON

Susan M. Johnson, 73, of Hartville, Ohio, entered the gates of heaven, Monday, May 28, 2018. She was born February 27, 1945 in Iron River, Michigan, daughter of the late Uno and Ann Maki.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her companion, Joey Ihasz in 2009.

Susan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who survive her; son, Brian (Holly) Johnson of Uniontown, Ohio; grandchildren, Erin, Emily, and Ryan; and brother, Brian Maki of Fairbault, Minnesota.

A member of Kenmore Church of Christ, Susan sang in the church choir, glorifying God.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and going to the Hartville Flea Market.  She enjoyed watching Christian Television.  Susan’s greatest love and blessing was her family.

The family will receive guests, Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 am until the Memorial Service, beginning at 11 am, Hecker Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, Ohio. Pastor Dan Roland officiating.  In honoring Susan’s wishes, a private interment will take place at a later date.
