ROBERT D. EAVER OBITUARY
On any given Sunday you can drive down Wright Road and see the shadow of a man sitting at the head of a table in a house built by his own hands. A home filled with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Laughter and squeals (and a few tears) spilling from the windows with pinochles and over-bids. On any given Sunday there is the memory of a man at the head of a table that has heard engagement and birth announcements, consoled broken hearts from loss and change, and given advice learned along the way.
Robert Dale Eaver was a man of many talents and blessings. Ask anyone that ever spoke to him and it would be clear that his biggest blessing was his family. Robert was a man that loved with his whole heart and taught everyone that ever came from him to do the same. He showed everyone around him to look out for each other without question or hesitation.
Robert joined his beautiful bride, Doris; his grandson, Dean; and eldest son, Paul, in heaven on July 12, 2021. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Paul W and Wilma D (Bridenthal) Eaver and his siblings, Pauline Powell, Richard Eaver, and Shirley Workinger. He is survived by his children, Bonnie (Luther) Price, Dale (Teri) Eaver, and Bobbi (Keith) Foringer; his grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Cioppa, Dan (Chrissy) Price, Matthew (Trisha) Eaver, Rebeca (Rick) Rothrauff, Joanna (Joseph) Greeson, Halley (Grant) Hookway, Jackie Eaver, and Benjamin (Mikayla) Foringer; his 14 great-grandchildren, who were the joy of his life and energetic fuel for his week. He will forever be remembered by Geraldine Bittle and numerous other friends and family that were very dear to him.
A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2021 at Greentown United Methodist Church at 2:00pm. Friends and family are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life after the service at his home.
