PAUL LUCAS MILLS

Paul Lucas Mills (49) Born April 23, 1974 in Canton, Ohio to Raymond and Linda Mills. A day celebrated by all! He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Mills; children,  Brittany (Todd) Trusty, Sabrina Mills Simms,  Ian Mills, Spitty handsome boy Mills;  and his grandchildren, Jocilynn, Lucas and Lainey Rose and Paul’s story is THE greatest love story. The love they have for each other is rare. 

He leaves behind his  brothers, Ray (Julie) Mills, Jim (Alicia) Mills, Lonnie (Tami) Mills, Brian Mills, Kay Mills, Susan Mills, Julie (Ron) Farmer; nieces, nephews; 2nd mom, Sharon Walrath; stepmother, Judith “Meem” Mills; a truck load of extended family; and his baseball family; but is going home to be with his loving mother, Linda Hill Mills. He couldn’t wait to see her! His Dad, Raymond Mills; Uncle Ron Mills; and Daisy Girl are the few others he’ll be joining in heaven.

He asked that we not talk about his education (that stuff’s not important) and instead speak of how much he loved his job as an engineer at Goodyear. (He was so smart). Other than work and Rose, one of his best accomplishments in life was coaching youth baseball and football. Coach Paul changed lives! 

He gave the best hugs. He was loud, but his love was loud too. He loved holding babies. He loved to eat and go out to eat. He was the life of the party/gathering/Euchre night or meal. Have you ever played volleyball with him?

He made everyone he met smile and usually had them laughing… and not fake laughing, REAL laughter. These words are just a snapshot of who he is. He was so much more than these few sentences. 

He thanked God every day for his wife and his life.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at The Robertson Community Center, 1005 E. State St. Alliance, Ohio on Friday December 22nd from 3pm-8pm.
