OPAL ELIZABETH STOCKWELL

Opal Elizabeth Stockwell passed away peacefully and entered God's Kingdom on October 12, 2023. She was born   on April 24, 1933 in Cherokee County, North Carolina. She moved to Ohio and worked as an

executive secretary for Arnold Graphics Industries and worked in secretarial positions for a temp. agency. Early in her career she was a telephone operator. She also worked as a fashion model for a major

department store.

She enjoyed crafts, growing flowers, collecting rocks, drives in the country, cooking, and entertaining. She was a wonderful caring person, storyteller and always treated people as she would like to be treated. She will be sadly missed and has placed a halo around the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her Husband, Ronald Stockwell, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mack C. Lovin, Ora Edna Lovin, brothers: William Lovin, Robert Lovin, Philip Lovin, Russell Lovin, Henry Lovin, and Lloyd Lovin, and sisters: Ethel Mae Lovin, Ruby Curtis, and Virginia Standridge.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, October 29, at noon at Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 North Munroe Road, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.
