MAXINE R. DAILY

Quietly in the early morning of November 20, 2023, Maxine R. Daily, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully. She was born in Greentown, Ohio on May 6, 1925 to her late parents, Robert and Nellie (Wise) Werstler. Maxine was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Daily, who passed away in 1996; daughter, Cheryl Schneider; and brothers, Wayne and Charles Werstler.

She leaves many cherished memories to those who survive; daughter, Judy McMasters of Greentown; son, Stan Daily of Colorado; grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrea, Amy, Molly, Magen, Meredith, Benjamin, Taylor; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many wonderful friends.

Maxine was a 1942 graduate of Greentown High School, a member of Greentown United Methodist Church for 79 plus years, the American Legion Auxiliary #426, Stark Rebekah Lodge #728, Greentown over 60s, Greentown Community Park Board, Lake Grange, and the Widows’ Club. Her greatest and most precious treasure was taking care of her family and always sharing her love, support, and guidance. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting shut-ins, crocheting, and receiving cards.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Friday, November 24, 2023 from

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, where the service will follow immediately at 1:00 PM.

Interment will take place at Greentown Cemetery.
