Mary Jane Springer, 88, of Uniontown, Ohio passed away December 2, 2025 at The Inn at Belden Village. She was born in Akron, Ohio on September 15, 1937, to Newell and Addie (Curtis) Fulkerson.

Mary Jane retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company with 29 years of service. Her position was supervisor of the Dealer Customer Service Department. Selling tires was in her blood and she couldn’t walk through a parking lot without checking the number of cars that had Firestone tires. In the rubber business, if you worked for Firestone, this is something referred to as being “gum dipped”. It’s a Firestone thing.

She enjoyed volunteering for the golf tournaments at Firestone Country Club, as well as golfing there herself in a league with her co-workers, gardening, making silk flower arrangements, visiting family in Tennessee, watching every sporting event imaginable on TV, and vacationing with a lively group of gals in Myrtle Beach. She especially loved cruises and traveling many places with Yvonne, and most of all spending time with her daughter and family. Her grandsons were the light of her life, and she never missed an event in which they were involved. Mary Jane had a great sense of humor and loved pranking her friends. Yes, she was a handful!

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne “Suzy Jane” Bradcovich-Bozick (John) of Uniontown, Ohio; step-grandson, John Stewart Bozick of St. George, Utah; grandchildren, Jim Bradcovich of Madison, of Wisconsin; Nick Bradcovich of Milford Ohio; and Yvonne Eickelman, loyal friend and caretaker of Uniontown, Ohio.

The family would like to thank The Inn at Belden Village and Summa Health Hospice for their loving care of Mary Jane.

Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours.
