Loren William Flowers, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, surrounded by the family he cherished throughout his long and blessed life. Born on February 8, 1931, in Frankford, Missouri, he lived with a quiet strength, a deep reverence for God, and a steadfast devotion to those he loved.

A true man of faith, he was committed to his church and lived out his beliefs in the everyday ways that mattered most—through kindness, humility, generosity, and a heart that sought to honor God in all things. His faith was not only spoken but shown.

He had a gift for working with his hands. Woodworking brought him joy, and he spent countless hours crafting, building, and creating pieces that will be treasured for generations. He loved tinkering—fixing what was broken, improving what could be better, and finding satisfaction in the simple act of making things work again. His garden was a place where he found peace. He delighted in watching things grow.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His family was his greatest blessing, and he poured his love into them with patience, wisdom, and unwavering loyalty. His gentle presence and steady guidance will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Nel Schofield; grandsons, Jeremy (Linda) Schofield, Christopher (Brianna Ivanhoff) Thrasher; great-grandchildren, Lauren (John) Shultz, Courtney Schofield, and Jack Thrasher; great-great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Sophia Shultz; sisters, Mae (Bradley) Miller, Mary Wagoner; and daughter-in-law, Lori (Keathley) Flowers, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Frasier) Flowers; son, Harry Flowers; grandson, Thomas Schofield, Jr.; two brothers; and three sisters.

The family will receive guests at Gospel Assembly Church, 2535 Wise Road, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service celebrating Loren’s life and faith, led by Brother Daniel Baer.

The family appreciates the gentle guidance of Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, who handled the arrangements. Family and friends are invited to share stories, and honor a man whose faith, craftsmanship, and love shaped the lives of all who knew him at www.heckerpatronfuneralhome.com.
