JOHNNIE JAMES LEIB

 

Johnnie James Leib, 62, of Akron, passed away August 11, 2022 with his family by his side. He now rests peacefully.  Born August 17, 1959 in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Nina (Nelsen) Leib.

 

He is survived by his wife, Alice Leib of Akron; two children, Teanna Leib and Curtis Adkins both of Akron; sister, Ginger (David) Miller of Akron; and his wonderful grandchildren, Josslynn, Joey, Natalie, Logan, Nevaeh, and Charli. The beautiful moments you shared with us will never be forgotten.

 

Johnnie served as a motor transport operator in the United States Army. He was an avid WWE Wrestling fan, enjoyed fishing and taking rides. Those who knew Johnnie, knew he was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, sharing the same love and devotion with his friends.

 

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, August 18, 2022, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, Ohio. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow, at 1:00 p.m., Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio. Mr. Kelly Julian will officiate.
