JOHN P. WESTON

John P. Weston, 72, of Akron, Ohio, passed away at his home, February 2, 2023.  He was born May 7, 1950 in Akron, to the late Arthur and Emma (Carr) Weston. Also preceding John in death was his wife, Deborah Weston; brothers, Willie and Glen Weston and Bob Seaford.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Powell; son, Tim (Marsha) Weston; grandchildren, Scott, Caleb, Willow, and Zachary; brothers, Arthur (Sandy) Weston and Tom (Beverly) Weston; and nieces, Jennifer Seaford and Kim (Dan) Sayres.

A devoted employee, John worked as a welder/fabricator in the steel industry and  retired from Accu-Grind.  John took pride in providing and supporting his family and giving each of them unconditional love. He loved animals, Harleys, and enjoyed oil painting. John proudly served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam era.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, February 9, 2023, from Noon to 1:00 PM, with the service immediately following at 1:00 PM, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. Pastor James Lovejoy will officiate.
