JANICE E. BEECH

Janice E. Beech, 69, of Mogadore, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic. Born March 12, 1949 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Edna M. Simmons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2014 by her husband, Alan L. Beech.

Janice will live on in the hearts of those who survive; her children, Matthew (Kim) Beech of Akron, Ohio, Patricia (Christian) Luciano of Mogadore, Ohio, Zachary (Allie) Beech of North Carolina; grandchildren, Abbie, Kourtney, Kyleigh, Ellyana, and Zoey; and brother, James A. (Janet) Simmons of Illinois.

She was a life member of the Advent Lutheran Church and was a retired teacher from Akron Public Schools. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Janice was everyone’s best friend. She was always there for family and friends through everything; sharing tears, laughter, pleasures, and making souls blossom. She was what hearts needed all the time.

Family and friends are invited to visit, Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 3:30 to 7:30 pm., Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, Ohio, where the service for Janice will be conducted, Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10:00 am. Pastor Bob Cheyney, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
