JANET M. STAYER

Janet M. Stayer passed away February 17, 2023, at the after of 88, after declining health issues.  A member of Greentown United Methodist Church, Janet left to be with our Lord and be reunited with her parents, Sam and Hilda, as well as her brother, Jack.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Grew up in Greentown and retired in North Canton, Janet was an independent lady. She always enjoyed people and a good laugh. She retired from North Canton Hoover after 35 years and was grateful for her job and pension. She enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Tar Heels, Indians, and Browns. Janet will be missed by her friend of 30 years, George Norman.

George would like to thank Rini, Janet’s hairdresser, for the frequent visits and calls during her illness. He would also like to thank Windsor Medical staff and everyone there, who loved and cared for Janet; as well as Crossroads Hospice and Pastor Miller. This very caring group of people was very much appreciated.

Upon Janet’s request, there will be no services. Janet never wanted to be a bother to anyone.
