JACK BOURN

Jack Bourn of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away at Altercare of Alliance on March 24, 2023. He was 88 at the time of his death.

He was born July 5, 1934, to parents Ralph and Hazel (O’Dell) Bourn, who preceded him in death, together with his twin brother, Gene, four brothers, and two sisters.

Jack will be missed by many and left to cherish his memory is his wife of 67 years, Beverly Knight Bourn of Uniontown; sons, Jeff (Sharon) Bourn of Columbus and Mike (Cindy) Bourn of North Carolina; grandchildren, Beverly, Bailey, Britney, Brian, Erica, Jennifer, and David; and five great-grandchildren.

Very active in the sports world, he  played semi-pro baseball, basketball, and football. He played softball for ten years in the Silver League and was a member of the Springfield Hall of Fame.

Jack lived an extraordinary life, devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was the happiest when they were all together, sharing love, laughter, and making memories. He touched the lives of many and was a generous, kind, and gentle man.

The family will receive guests, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, with a Memorial Service immediately following at 5:30 PM, honoring Jack’s life.
