GLORIA JUNE PATTON ROGERS

Gloria June Patton Rogers, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2023. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Bill” Patton; daughter, Michelle Harmon; grandson, Justin Osborne; longtime friend, Aubrey Hupp; and beloved dog, Molly.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Harmon Appling and Sheree Simmons; beloved grandchildren, Candace, Christa, Ashley, Ray, Jason, Chris, and Nick; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Gloria was a motivated entrepreneur. She broke many gender barriers in sales, as a saleswoman, selling big ticket items at Montgomery Wards. She sold RVs for Clay’s RV, worked for Ohio Bell, flipped houses, and sold clothing. In her late 70’s, she adapted to the times and began selling clothing online, as Ms. Resale 2000. Gloria was a member of Community Church of Portage Lakes, and a supporter of South Street Ministries and the Haven of Rest.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown.

Services will be at the funeral home, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Duane Crabbs will officiate. Interment will follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
