Glenda B. Fisher

Glenda B. Fisher passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, after gracing this world for 85 years. Born in Sutton, West Virginia on November 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Alta (Johns) Knight. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Fisher; and sisters, Mildred Riposo and Edith Boyer.

Leaving behind a lifetime of love and cherished memories are those who survive; sons, Samuel (Brenda) Fisher, John (Mary) Fisher, Jr., Daniel Fisher; grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Tyler (Amber), Katelyn (Auston), and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Greysen, Oakland, and Aurora; many nieces and nephews; and those whose lives she touched by simply being Glenda.

Glenda was known for her legendary cooking and baking, her kindness and giving heart, and mostly her dedication to her family. She was never too busy to comfort, listen, support and share a warm hug. Her grandchildren were her world and the joy they brought her was evident whenever she was surrounded by their laughter and love.

Visitation for family and friends will be at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, May 23, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with the service following at 11:00 AM. Pastor Stephen Neumeyer will officiate. Interment will follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
