FLORENCE CHURCHILL RAMOS ALTIZER MOREHEAD

Florence Churchill Ramos Altizer Morehead passed away April 12, 2023 at her home in Akron, Ohio. She was 89. Born in Akron on November 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John Churchill, Sr. and R. Donie Faulkner Churchill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Morehead in 2020; brothers, Curtis and William Churchill; sisters, Madge Schneider and Jewel Thomas.

Florence was a devoted Christian with immovable faith, who was loving, gracious, brave, and honest. She enjoyed traveling and loved her family beyond measure.

She will be missed by those who survive; daughter, Crystal Bisel (Michael Whitmer); sons, Ralph Ramos and Gerald (Maria) Altizer; grandchildren, Chad Ramos, Gerald and Andrew Altizer, Tara Gentry, Melissa Garrett, Jennifer Gartner, and Brandy Bisel; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of service, beginning at 1:00 pm, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown. Reverend Marcia Durkee will officiate. Interment will follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
