ERNEST QUEER

"Together Again"

Ernest Queer, 93, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully, October 13, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania on November 30, 1928, to the late Nevin and Heneritta (Miller) Queer.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was also preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Queer on March 9, 2017; infant, Dennis Queer; brother, Charles Queer; and son-in-law, Joe Harrison.

He leaves wonderful memories to those who survive; daughters, Debra Queer, Sharon (Ray) Rembold, Pamela Harrison; sons, Richard (Deborah) Queer, Kenneth Opp, Jeffery (Rebecca) Queer; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ernest was employed by Falls Lumber Company and retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Chapel Hill Church and served in the Navy National Guard. He was an expert wood worker specializing in scrolling and shared his woodworking talent at his church. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his cabin in Pennsylvania. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Monday, October 17, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, where the service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Gary Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, Cuyahoga Falls.
