DONALD W. BOYER

Donald W. Boyer of Canton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, January 28, 2024. He was 66 years old. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 9, 1957 to Edith (Knight) Boyer and the late Ronald W. Boyer. Also preceding Donald in death was his first wife, Mary Boyer and his second wife, Lori (Musisca) Boyer.

He was a devoted father, grandfather, and son. He was a very gifted wood worker and enjoyed spending time creating many beautiful pieces. Known as the Silver Fox, he was legendary to many and his passing will leave an indelible void in their lives. 

Surviving are his daughters, Christina (Ryan) Stein of North Carolina, Angela (James) McAnalley of Akron; mother, Edith Boyer; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Trinity, Christian, and Tristan; sister, Rhonda (Gary) Neumeyer of Green; and special friend, Alvah Hayes.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, where a Memorial Service, celebrating Donald’s life will begin at 1:00 PM. Nephew and Pastor Stephen Neumeyer will officiate.
