DANIEL LEE DAVIS

Daniel Lee Davis was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord on June 28, 2023. He was 70. He was born on May 18, 1953, in Akron, Ohio, to parents, Carl and Jaqueline (Dycus) Davis, who preceded Dan in death, together with his brother, Wayne.

Dan’s memory will be cherished always by those who survive; his wife of 47 years, Dianna Davis; daughters, Tawnya (Will) Kraus, Amanda Erickson; son, Steven (Bethanee) Davis; grandchildren, Arielle (Ervin Ding), Sarah, Rylan, Liam, Emma, and Randyn; great-granddaughter, Anneliese; sister, Melody (Fred) Doering; brother, Jeff Davis; mother-in-law, Dorothy Simmons; many other family members; his church family; and many whose lives he touched.

First and foremost, in Dan’s life was the Lord. He truly had a spirit of humility and a servant’s heart. Dan shared his faith with his family and led by example of loving his wife and children with his whole being.  He took great pride in leading, protecting, and providing for his family and shared the importance of prayer, worship and following God.

Dan always shared his soft-spoken hello and smile with everyone he encountered. He enjoyed talking with people, was always willing to help whenever needed, always took the time to pay attention to the needs, wishes, and feelings of others; and could be counted on for his honesty.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, and Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Road, Uniontown, where the service will follow immediately at 11:00 am. Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. will officiate. Interment will take place at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.

Hecker-Patron Funeral Home was entrusted with Dan’s care and privileged in assisting the family during this tender time.
