BESSIE M. “BESS” WILKINSON

Bessie M. “Bess” Wilkinson moved from her earthly home to her mansion in the sky, January 22, 2023, prepared by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on February 25,1938 in Arcadia, Pennsylvania to the late Amaniah and Ethel (O’Harrah) Blough.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 41 years, Richard; daughter, Diane; and son, Mark. She is survived by her children, Kevin, Eric; and grandchildren, Kelly, Nicholas, Daniel, Emily, and Cassie; and many other relatives and friends.

Honoring Bessie’s wishes, a Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:30 AM, Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.

Bessie’s faith was unwavering, and scripture led her daily life. One of her favorite scripture verses was Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, "To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under Heaven; a time to be born and a time to die.” She knew when her appointed time arose, she would be welcomed from her temporary home to her eternal home; 2 Corinthians 5:1.
